Hedwig and the Angry Inch - US Tour

ohn Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's landmark American musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH took Broadway by storm 2014-15. The record-breaking production ran for over 500 triumphant performances and won 4 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival. Six stars stepped into Hedwig's golden boots: Neil Patrick Harris, Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall, John Cameron Mitchell, Darren Criss and Taye Diggs. Michael Mayer’s groundbreaking production introduced HEDWIG to a new generation of fans, and soon audiences across the US will be able to experience the musical phenomenon when the National Tour launches in San Francisco on October 4, 2016.

Her mother is Jewish and her father is African-American. Jones performed in the children's chorus of the Metropolitan Opera as a youth and graduated from the Berkeley Carroll School in 1999. 'I did theatre all throughout middle school and high school and was really into it, the same with singing,' she said.

Chip Miller has been named the associate artistic director of Portland Center Stage, the city's largest professional theater company. Miller originally joined the company in the spring of 2019, in the role of associate producer. In the past season, they directed the company's smash-hit production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the celebrated world premiere of Redwood, a play he also helped develop. Miller steps into the new role immediately.
