Emmy-winning media company World of Wonder, the team behind RuPaul’s Drag Race, has picked up a second season of the Jinkx Monsoon-led comedy series Sketchy Queens. The renewal announcement comes timed to the season finale of the 8-episode series. Sketchy Queens’ second season will continue to stream exclusively on WOW Presents Plus.

The star-studded list of creators includes digital superstar MrBeast, inventor and engineer Mark Rober, true crime storyteller MrBallen, fitness-industry titan Blogilates, newly revealed gamer Dream, streamer and comedian Kai Cenat, short form comedian Kallmekris, makeup artist and beauty vlogger NikkieTutorials, and more.

Two dazzling specials featuring some of the biggest names in music will bring melodies in December: “A Very Backstreet Christmas” celebrates the holidays with The Backstreet Boys, and “Finding Harmony” is an uplifting story featuring EGOT winner John Legend and David Brown, founder of the Columbus-based Harmony Project in Ohio.

The subject of the new original Filipino-made musical, “I Will, The Musical,” renowned medical doctor-philanthropist Willie Ong formally opened the show’s one-night-only performance at the Manila Metropolitan Theatre on Friday night. Diagnosed with clinical depression during his early adulthood, Dr. Ong overcame such a disability surrounded by the people who most loved him, his faith in God, and his longtime mission to attend to many Filipinos who needed medical attention pro bono.

In episode 5 which debuts Monday, October 17 Dr.  Jackie helps her receptionist Sherry Vine deal with a recent breakup and Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio break out of her shell. Special appearances by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig And The Angry Inch, Joe vs Carole) and comedian Pete Zias. Watch the video trailer now!

In December, New Conservatory Theatre Center will close 2022 on a high note by welcoming The Kinsey Sicks home for the holidays in their rollicking and raunchy musical act, Oy Vey in a Manger. 

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Brandon James Gwinn in Four Pianos on Thursday November 3rd at 9:30pm. Richard Rodgers Award winner and celebrated nightlife pianist Brandon James Gwinn (he/they), flanked by an expanded version of their T-shirt Tuxedo Trio, brings an evening of music to Broadway’s Supper Club tributing four of his favorite singing pianists: Blossom Dearie, Frances Faye, Diana Krall, and the fabulous Bobby Short. 

The album boasts features from Big Freedia, Pussy Riot, Bailey Flores, Death Valley Girls, and Pyra. The final touches of the album were expertly crafted by big-name producers Gold Glove (Slayyyter, Big Freedia), Little Shalimar (Run The Jewels, Trixie Whitley), KC Da Producer (Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, T.I.), and Not A Friend (Gia Woods).

Antaeus Theatre Company presents the Los Angeles premiere of Everybody, a funny, provocative and very modern riff on a 15th-century morality play by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by Jennifer Chang.
