54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present 54 Sings Sammy Rae and The Friends on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 9:30pm. What happens when you mix a little classic rock, folk, funk, soul, and jazz with a collection of dreamers and artists that consider themselves family? You get the high-energy, spirited, and unrestrained music of Sammy Rae & The Friends.

A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve and expand the art of the cabaret, honor the music of Broadway, and provide an unparalleled experience to diverse communities.

This month, 54 BELOW will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Improvisational phenomenon and hip-hop sensation FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME will continue to delight audiences through January 29 at The Summit Showroom inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The 90-minute show amazes audiences nightly with its seamless blend of hip-hop, improvisational comedy, singing, beatboxing and more. Freestyle Love Supreme was conceived by Anthony Veneziale, and created by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale.

World-renowned producer, actor, and playwright, Lin-Manuel Miranda, will take the stage at FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME inside The Summit Showroom at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas on Wednesday, Nov. 16, and Thursday, Nov. 17.

Before 'Hamilton' . . . Before 'In the Heights' . . . there was FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME. From producer Lin-Manuel Miranda and fresh from Broadway, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME brings hip-hop improv to The Summit Showroom inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas on Nov. 10. Recipient of a 2020 Special Tony Award, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME, directed by Thomas Kail, is a non-stop blend of hip-hop, improvisational comedy, music, and vocal stylings.

The work is smart, kinetic, occasionally a bit raunchy and a blast. Basically, this is part of the evolution of improvised comedy, only with better music. The Groundlings should be so cool.

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME creator Anthony Veneziale (who is part of the FLS founding trio which includes Thomas Kail and  Lin-Manuel Miranda) talks about what makes the hip-hop improv show so unique, and why the audience is such an important part of the show where every performance is different every time.  FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME is playing at The Old Globe Theatre through July 10th.

What did our critic think? FREE STYLE LOVE SUPREME brings fast-paced, creative, and fun improv raps and songs to the Old Globe stage through July 10th. The performances and the creativity may make you want to see it again and again because you are having as much fun in the audience as they seem to be having on stage.

The national tour of FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME will play Pasadena Playhouse July 12-August 7, 2022. The 90-minute show is created nightly with the audience and no two shows are ever the same.
