mun2, the Hispanic entertainment cable network, had its largest third quarter prime time (Monday-Sunday, 7-11p.m.) deliveries with total viewers (89,000) to date, according to Nielsen. For the quarter mun2 was the #1 Hispanic cable network in Fringe (Monday-Friday, 4-7 p.m) among adults 18-34, as well as adult males 18-34 and 18-49, and grew its Sunday night deliveries by double digits: +22% (55,000) adults 18-49, +31% (97,000) total viewers. The networks quarter deliveries were led by its robust programming mix which includes its original reality series “I Love Jenni” and “Larrymania,” soccer programming “Barclays Premier League presented by Deportes Telemundo on mun2,” and captivating telenovela “Pasion de Gavilanes.”

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher announced this morning that the audience and critics' favorite will play its final performance at New World Stages on Sunday, January 12, 2014, after almost two years, five Tony Awards, and 645 performances (both on Broadway and at New World Stages). Written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher opened on Broadway on April 15, 2012 and ran until January 20, 2013, before beginning performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) on Monday, March 18, 2013.

The impressive list of performers on what promises to be one of the most unforgettable nights honoring Mexican music continues to grow with Los Tigres del Norte, Diana Reyes, Kevin Ortiz, Los Primos MX, and Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez to perform at the 2013 Billboard Mexican Music Awards. They join previously announced performers Joan Sebastian, Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizarraga, Gerardo Ortiz, Roberto Tapia, Banda Los Recoditos, Julion Alvarez y su Norteño Banda, Calibre 50, Los Inquietos del Norte, and Roberto Junior y su Bandeño. The only awards show on a major network that honors Mexican music will broadcast live on Wednesday, October 9 at 7pm/6c from the renowned Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Over 1000 people are expected between 11am and 2pm at the Arts Crush Kickoff Fair at Seattle Center on September 22, 2013. Ten days later the annual ARTS CRUSH festival begins and runs all over the Puget Sound region from today, October 1-31. The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) joins forces with First Voice to present the World Premiere of MU, a magical fable created by National Endowment for the Arts Fellow playwright/artistic director Brenda Wong Aoki, Emmy-winning composer Mark Izu, and Tony-nominated choreographer Kimi Okada, and featuring fantasy costumes by Beaver Bauer. Based on a Japanese legend, MU is a beguiling tale both otherworldly and deeply personal.
