The Phoenix Theatre Company has posted a trailer for its production of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, the six-time Tony Award-winning musical, running in the Hormel Theatre through August 2, 2026.

Farmers Alley Theatre in Kalamazoo, MI will present DEAR EVAN HANSEN as the final production of its 18th season, directed by Kathy Mulay, featuring the Tony Award-winning score by Pasek and Paul.

STEPHEN KING's MISERY is coming to Farmers Alley Theatre this spring. Adapted by William Goldman, this nerve-tingling play stars Paul Stroili and Laura Jordan and will be directed by Kathy Mulay.

Farmers Alley Theatre will ring in the new year and present Primary Trust by Eboni Booth. Two extra performances have already been added due to strong ticket sales.

Farmers Alley Theatre will open its holiday season with A Very Kalamazoo Christmas, a new comedy by Michigan playwright Robert Hawlmark, beginning November 20, 2025.

Farmers Alley Theatre and Air Zoo will host Connor Farry: The Story Behind COME FROM AWAY on October 18 at 2 p.m. in Portage, MI. The free community event features Farry, whose real-life experience as a child passenger diverted to Gander on 9/11 helped inspire the Tony-winning musical Come From Away.

Farmers Alley Theatre is presenting Come from Away.  Come from Away is a musical with book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. It is based on the events in the Newfoundland town of Gander during the week following the September 11 attacks, when 38 planes, carrying approximately 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport. The characters in the musical are based on actual Gander residents and stranded travelers they housed and fed. Come From Away at Farmers Alley Theatre runs September 25th- October 26th, with an American Sign Language interpreted performance on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00pm.  We had the chance to interview the Director and Costume Designer for Come From Away, and see what Kathy Mulay had to say, as well as her thoughts on Come From Away.

When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other, the chance to return to life. Written by Brooke Maxwell and Jacob Richmond, this popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived! Ride the Cyclone at Farmers Alley Theatre runs May 29th-June 15th, with an American Sign Language interpreted performance on Thursday, June 5th.
