Farmers Alley Theatre has released first look footage of GOOD NIGHT, OSCAR, Doug Wright's acclaimed play now playing through May 2, 2026 in a collaborative production with the Gilmore Piano Festival.

Directed by Suzanne Regan, the play is set in 1958 and follows Jack Paar's late-night television show on the night that his favorite and most unpredictable guest, character actor and pianist Oscar Levant, appears live on national TV in an episode no one will soon forget. The production explores the nexus of humor and heartbreak, the line between exploitation and entertainment, and the high cost of baring one's soul for public consumption. REVUE called it a production of "phenomenal talent and a roller coaster of emotions."

David Corlew leads the cast as Oscar Levant, with Drew Parker as Jack Paar, Atis Kleinbergs as Bob Sarnoff, Veronica Dark as June Levant, Delanti Hall as Alvin Finney, Jacob Tyler Reinstein as Max Weinbaum, and Jackson Medina as George Gershwin.

GOOD NIGHT, OSCAR runs 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission. An ASL-interpreted performance took place April 18. The production carries a content advisory for themes of mental health and drug usage.
