The annual Well-Strung Christmas concert is coming up, and the fans of Edmund, Christopher, Daniel, and Trevor are counting the days, rather like an advent calendar.

For Edmund Bagnell, who has spent most of the past decade performing around the world as the first violinist and vocalist of the popular singing string quartet Well-Strung, there has been little time for slowing down, despite the global pandemic.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts 2021/2022 Dance and Classical Series presented by PNC Private Bank will deliver the exhilarating and timeless joy found in these artistic forms in a season featuring internationally acclaimed artists whose work has inspired a devoted following of modern fans while continuing to delight longtime connoisseurs.

The hit live show has been devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander, and features the group’s own unique pop-classical spin on some of the most beautiful and traditional holiday favorites, such as  'Silent Night', 'Sleigh Ride,' all the way to Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas” and everything in between.

Returning to his Manhattan nightclub home, the industrious Well-Strung violinist premieres his second solo in two years.

After spending the pandemic creating music videos and a CD, Edmund Bagnell has spent the summer playing Provincetown and some other cities, but now he is back in NYC and ready to show 54 Below all he's been working on.

HE PLAYS THE VIOLIN stars Edmund Bagnell, 1st violinist and vocalist of the internationally acclaimed string quartet Well-Strung. Through stories and song, the evening celebrates all things music: from classical to standards, pop to broadway—and of course, with a good dose of fiddle thrown in.

Edmund Bagnell, 1st Violinist & vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well-Strung, will bring his new solo show Happy Days Are Here Again, directed by and co-written with Michael Schiralli, to the Crown & Anchor’s P-Town lineup for a summer-long run this season from July 6 - August 31.
