Claire Sweeney will star as Miss Hannigan in the upcoming UK and Ireland tour of the beloved musical ANNIE. The tour will bring this classic story to audiences across the region, showcasing Sweeney's dynamic portrayal of the iconic role.

54 Below will honor the Black performers, producers, and artists who are vital members of our artistic community this Black History Month, featuring performances by Vanessa Williams and more.

Award-winning off-Broadway composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh (Love Quirks, Malka) will present 2 Charles Strouse Tribute Cabarets Tuesday, January 27th & Friday, January 30th at 7PM at renowned cabaret venue Don’t Tell Mama.

Music Theater Works’ Annie, in the George Van Dusen Theatre, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, is now playing through January 4, 2026. Annie, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and book by Thomas Meehan, is directed by Producing Artistic Director Kyle Dougan-LeBlanc, choreographed by Mollyanne Nunn and music directed by Michael McBride. Check out photos here.

International performer Michael Crawford is probably best known the world over for originating the title character in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End, on Broadway, and an extended engagement in Los Angeles. But his seventy year career goes far beyond that one show. Prior to The Phantom of the Opera Mr. Crawford appeared regularly on the West End in such productions as Barnum, Black Comedy, Flowers for Algernon, and Billy. You might also remember him from his performance of Corneilus Hackl in the movie version of Hello Dolly. He also appeared in EFX at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as well as having a very successful concert and solo recording career.

This holiday season, Gateway Theatre invites families and theatre-lovers to experience the heartwarming story of Annie, one of the world's best-loved musicals, from December 11 to January 3, 2026.

La Voix will star as Miss Hannigan, alongside Alex Bourne as Oliver Warbucks, in the UK and Ireland tour of the musical ANNIE, opening at New Wimbledon Theatre.
