Additional stars have joined the lineup of Broadway luminaries bringing to life LGBTQ+ stories through show tunes at Broadway Backwards, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

For one night only, Broadway’s buzziest stars and legendary icons will flip the script on beloved show tunes, reimagining them as powerful stories of LGBTQ+ love and pride when Broadway Backwards returns for its 20th anniversary on Monday, March 23, 2026.

BLACK BROADWAY MEN will present the second season of the BBM SPOTLIGHT SERIES which seeks to amplify the voices of those who have garnered luminous years of wisdom through their career in theatre.

BET+ and BET Studios have announced the season two greenlight of “DIARRA FROM DETROIT,” the critically acclaimed dramedy from creator, executive producer, writer, and star Diarra Kilpatrick.

On Friday February 9, 2024, the New York Pops paid tribute to Gershwin’s music on the occasion of the near 100-year anniversary of “Rhapsody in Blue” (it officially hits 100 today, on February 12). Guest vocalist Montego Glover and the 78-piece New York Pops orchestra were a delight to watch.
