This morning, Laura Bell Bundy and CMT's Evan Farmer announced the nominees for the 2010 CMT Awards, and Broadway-turned-country star got a very welcomed surprise - she herself earned a nomination for Best Breakthrough Video of the Year for 'Giddy on Up,' the first single off of her newest album, Achin' and Shakin.' The CMT Awards will be Broadcast live on June 9 on Country Music Television at 8 p.m. ET. Kid Rock hosts this year's ceremony.

Voting begins today for the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, country music's only fan-voted award show, with the announcement of this year's first round finalists. NBC Universal has announced that 9 To 5 composer Dolly Parton will take part Carrie Underwood's star-studded holiday, tentatively entitled 'Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Special,' airing on FOX at 8PM EST on December 7. Adam Shankman, director the film version of Hairspray, is co-executive producing and directing the special.
