Birdland once again presented singer/songwriter Victoria Shaw, who returned to the stage with another one of her award-winning shows, “Under the Covers” on Monday, March 18. Victoria’s special guests were Peter Cincotti, Jim Brickman, Billy Stritch, Josh Turchin, Ruby Locknar, and Ava Locknar.

Linda Purl has had a long, storied career, playing iconic roles on Happy Days, Matlock and The Office. On Monday April 1, she’s back at Birdland Jazz Club with a one-night only concert called BIG BAND ROMANCE. The show will pay tribute to the big band greats with hit songs including “Pick Yourself Up” and “Come Rain or Come Shine.”

Netflix has added the additions of five recurring cast members joining No Good Deed, creator and executive producer Liz Feldman’s upcoming dark comedy series. Almost four years after his COVID delayed Bay Area Cabaret appearance, Broadway star Max von Essen made it to the historic Venetian Room with selections from his 2019 CD of Broadway interpretations on which he was joined by Grammy winning composer and famed musical director, Billy Stritch who backs Essen for this show as well.
