This season, three plays are receiving Broadway debuts which already made significant noise off-Broadway in their original productions, years ago. Becky Shaw, Bug, and Marjorie Prime will all be opening on Broadway in early 2026 in brand new productions. The first and last are spending time on Broadway at the Hayes under the auspices of Second Stage while Bug is being presented by Manhattan Theatre Club at their home, the Friedman. 

On Saturday, November 29 Colt Coeur kicked off their 15th anniversary season with the World Premiere of The Surgeon and Her Daughters by Chris Gabo. See photos of the opening night celebration!

Long Wharf Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its spring production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, which will take place at the iconic waterfront Canal Dock Boathouse in New Haven from February 10 through March 10.

Judy Greer, Paul Sparks, Alison Pill, Tracy Letts, Annie Parisse, Kate Arrington and Alexander Skarsgard will star in the movie adaptation of Eric Larue, directed by Michael Shannon. Michael Shannon is making his directorial debut with this film.

New York Stage and Film's 2021 Winter Gala was held this past Monday, December 13 at The Edison Rooftop, 233 West 46 Street. The celebratory Gala evening included play excerpts from works by Keelay Gipson, Beth Henley, and Josh Radnor.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, September 14th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Sixteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.
