En el 115 aniversario luctuoso del músico mexicano Ricardo Castro (1864-1907), que se cumplen este 27 de noviembre, la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) lo recuerdan como uno de los más importantes compositores y pianistas del siglo XIX, así como el primer sinfonista del país y el que más destacó entre los compositores de su generación en el plano internacional.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Emma Rice’s critically acclaimed Wuthering Heights, a reimagined version of Emily Brontë’s gothic masterpiece. Performances begin Friday, November 18 and continue through Sunday, January 1, 2023.

The co-production with the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal, in association with Berkeley Repertory Theater, makes its US première at St Ann's Warehouse, New York, on 14 October, before touring to Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Chicago Shakespeare Theater, with more dates to be announced.

La Sala Principal del Palacio de Bellas Artes estrenó su nueva concha acústica con la Gala de Ópera Mexicana que presentó las mejores voces operísticas del país con la soprano Marcela Chacón, la mezzosoprano Vanessa Jara, el tenor Alan Pingarrón y el barítono Jesús Suaste, quienes fueron acompañados por la Orquesta y el Coro del Teatro de Bellas Artes.
