Nigel Hook Biography

Nigel Hook is a UK based set and costume designer. He has designed for The Play that Goes Wrong in the West End, on Broadway, and in multiple productions around the world.
His work has also been seen in THARK at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, at the Wemland Opera in Sweden, in Dial M For Murder at the Vienna English Theatre, at Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, Hitchhikers Guide to Fazakerley at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, and more.
Hook received his Post Graduate Diploma in Technical Theatre from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Beginning Monday July 25, Chris Lanceley takes over the role of Chris Bean, Chris French goes on as Jonathan, and Russell Mernagh temporarily joins the company in the role of Max until August 22.

On a recent episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, J.J. Abrams appeared as a guest. When Abrams wouldn't share spoilers about any of his upcoming projects, he offered compensation by inviting Colbert to see The Play That Goes Wrong, which Abrams co-produced. Colbert asked if he could bring someone, then proceeded to invite the entire Ed Sullivan Theater audience of about 400. The crowd cheered and Colbert assured them that after the show, they would all be heading over to see the Broadway play.
