BIO
Matthew Dean, a San Jose, California native, is currently in 7th grade. Matthew began dancing at age 2 at his mother’s dance studio, South Bay Dance Center. Matthew made his musical theater debut in April of 2016 as Billy in Children’s Musical Theater San Jose’s Marquee Production of Billy Elliot. Marquee Productions features CMT alumni and working professionals. Matthew reprised his role of Billy with Ocean State Theatre in the Rhode Island Professional Premiere of Billy Elliot the Musical in September-October of 2016.

This year's second Summer Play Lab showing will be a first-look production on July 7 at 4pm of Centuries, an immersive concert collaboration from Matthew Dean Marsh (You Don't Know the Lonely One), Kate Douglas (The Lucky Few), and singer-composer Raina Sokolov-Gonzalez.
