ZACH Theatre in partnership with Deaf Austin Theatre has announced the cast of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella playing January 25 – March 5 at The Topfer at ZACH with a cast and crew of deaf and hearing actors.

ZACH Theatre’s rockin’ holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol will return for the eighth year to The Topfer at ZACH playing November 16 – December 31 with MARC POUHÉ returning to the role of Ebenezer Scrooge. Also returning this season is CHANEL HAYNES who will rejoin the show as Ghost of Christmas Present.

Despite the minor tweaks and modern aspects of the production, this is still the same classic musical that is suitable and enjoyable for the entire family. Kenneth “Ken” Williams, who wrote/co-wrote over 500 songs, including the classic R&B hit “Everybody Plays The Fool,” died June 17, 2022 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York announced his wife, Broadway actress/singer Mary Seymour Williams.

ZACH Theatre has announced Austin’s most rockin’ holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol is returning to The Topfer at ZACH for the seventh year November 24–January 2, 2022, with exciting new songs and new cast members in addition to returning favorites under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Dave Steakley.

This Sunday, Oct. 17, renowned jazz musician Nat Adderley, Jr. will hit the stage at Parker Jazz Club (114 West Fourth St., Austin, Texas). Nat will appear in concert with his band and special guest Kenny Williams to benefit THE ADDERLEY FOUNDATION, which provides scholarships and financial assistance for underserved students.

Austin’s premier live jazz venue Parker Jazz Club is excited to share its October calendar and upcoming programming for fall 2021. Highlights include the Marcos Varela Quartet on Oct. 12 during Parker Jazz Club’s Jazz Therapy Session, The Adderley School Presents Broadway & Jazz with Nat Adderley, Jr. on Oct. 17, and Dale Watson is scheduled to perform as one of the first guest in the club’s new Parker Jazz Orchestra Series on Oct. 27.
