Currently, he stars as Raymond "Red" Reddington on NBC's "The Blacklist."
Spader's film credits include Steven Soderbergh's "Sex, Lies, and Videotape," for which he received the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival; David Cronenberg's "Crash," which received the Special Jury Prize at Cannes; and Steven Shainberg's "Secretary," which won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Feature. Other film credits include "2 Days in the Valley," "Wolf" and "Less Than Zero."
Spader starred in Steven Spielberg's feature "Lincoln," opposite Daniel Day Lewis, while also starring on NBC's hit comedy "The Office." Most recently, he co-starred in the feature film "The Homesman," alongside Hilary Swank and Tommy Lee Jones (who also directed), and starred as the titular villain in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
From 2004-08, Spader won three Emmy Awards for his seminal role as shameless attorney Alan Shore on "The Practice" and "Boston Legal," making him the only actor to win consecutive Emmys playing the same character on two different series.

David Alan Grier has been cast as Cogsworth in ABC's upcoming animated and live-action blended special, “Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration.” Grier will join the previously announced H.E.R. in the role of Belle, Joshua Henry as Gaston, Josh Groban as the Beast, and Rita Moreno as the Narrator.

NBC’s drama “The Blacklist” – from Sony Pictures Television, Universal Television and Davis Entertainment — has been renewed for a 10th season. “The Blacklist” stars James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Hisham Tawfiq, Laura Sohn and Harry Lennix. The show is also the fourth highest broadcast drama in bringing in an upscale audience.
Grier will join the previously announced Steve Carell, Domhall Gleeson, Linda Emond, Laura Niemi and Andrew Leeds in the cast of the eight-episode half-hour series. Details of Grier's role are currently being kept under wraps. The Patient was co-written by Joel Fields and Joe Weisberg.
