BIO
Jeff Award winner Donterrio Johnson, an alumni of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of Los Angeles and an Artistic Ensemble Member of Pride Films and Plays. A Chicago native who's credits include: Lookingglass Alice, Sweeney Todd (DCPA) Murder Ballad (Cardinal Stage) Next To Normal (Boho Theatre) Aint Misbehavin', Golden Boy (Porchlight Music Theatre) The Color Purple, Avenue Q (Mercury Theatre) Rent (Brightside Theatre) Under A Rainbow Flag (Pride Films and Plays)**Jeff Award Winner, Hairspray The Musical (SRO Productions) (**ITL Award-Best Actor), Urinetown, Aladdin The Musical , Into The Woods, and Kennedy The Musical-Broadway Workshop.
Donterrio has also worked as a Director and Choreographer for multiple musicals and show choirs both in Chicago and Los Angeles. Not only a performer he is a budding photographer and graphic artist.
