Winner of the 2014 Joseph Jefferson Award for "Best Production - Revue," "Best Direction - Revue" for Brenda Didier, "Artistic Specialization" for conductor/pianist Austin Cook and one of Porchlight's biggest hits ever returns just in time for your holiday pleasure with the original cast! Set in the jazz age when nightspots like the Cotton Club and the Savory Ballroom were the playgrounds of high society, this tribute to the Harlem Renaissance is an evening of rowdy, toe-tappin', and humorous songsthat capture the mood of an era.
The Ain't Misbehavin' cast features Robin DaSilva, Sharriese Hamilton, Donterrio Johnson, Lina Wass and Lorenzo Rush, Jr., and in the band; Austin Cook, conductor/piano; Chris Thigpen, bass; Michael Weatherspoon, drums; Rajiv Halim, saxophone and Shaun Johnson, trumpet.
