BIO
Chris Blisset is an actor, musician, director, composer, and comedian based in New York City. Blisset has spent 21 years on the road doing such.
"Red" has also been seen in: Joe Iconis' Bloodsong of Love (Lead Guitar, Harmonica), Beau (Lyons & Pakchar, NYC workshop), Bull (Guest Star), Killer Couples (Guest Star), RockShow (Composer, Lead).
He directed the music to the first and second national tour of Stand By Your Man: The Tammy Wynette Story, as well as scores of shows coast-to-coast. Regional favorites: Once (everywhere), Ring of Fire (everywhere), Natasha/Pierre (The Hangar), Ride the Cyclone (The Hangar), Million Dollar Quartet (Saugatuck Center for the Arts),
He has been seen live as musician, music director, and composer with dozens of Broadway stars (including Eric Summers, Lena Hall, Brenda Braxton, Julius Thomas III, Tituss Burgess, Chris Jackson, others.)
Mostly known for shows that utilize actors as on-stage orchestra, he has acted and directed in shows in 45 states.
As a director, Chris Blisset is currently developing the show Miracle Baby with Payton Reilly, Amanda Ryan Paige, and Matt Uremovich.
