BIO
Amy Johnson is a singer, decent mover, and character actor darling of the Birmingham stage. Amy is a graduate of the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama and has been active in the southeastern regional theatre scene for many years.
Recent appearances include Kit Kat Girl Rosie (Cabaret), Paulette (Legally Blonde), Penny Pennywise (Urinetown), Ethel Merman (The Book of Merman), Madame de la Grande Bouche (Beauty & the Beast), Fruma-Sarah (Fiddler on the Roof), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), The Lady of the Lake (Spamalot), Sister Mary Patrick (Sister Act), The Witch (Big Fish), and many more.
When she’s not performing, Amy can be found cooking, honing her voiceover artist skills, exploring the Magic City, working in #socialmedia and singing in the shower…or pretty much anywhere. Be intentional!
