Amber Weissert

Amber Weissert is an New York City based performer, choreographer, and educator. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; she received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Millwaukee. While not on the stage, Amber has shared her talents and knowledge with the next generation of artists as an educator. In Milwaukee, Amber loves to teach with First Stage's Theatre Academy. She was the choreographer of the prestigious Company Class' production of KISS ME KATE last summer. Currently, she teaches with New York Kids Club, Union Square Play, and FUSE Dance Group in New York City. Amber is also the proud recipient of the 2023 BWW Regional (Milwaukee) Best Choreography Award for her work In THE SECRET GARDEN with Lake Country Playhouse!
Milwaukee credits include; Juliet with Voices Found Repertory (ROMEO AND JULIET), Kari with Waukesha Civic Theatre (ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID), Sammy with Next Act Theatre (THE TIN WOMAN), Titania with Voices Found Repertory (A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM), and Penny with Sunset Playhouse (HAIRSPRAY). New York credits include; Lennox with Screwdriver Productions (MACBETH)(Off-Off Broadway), Soloist (LETSBROADWAYNYC), Featured Ensemble (SHE LOVES ME).
