The Academy Orchestra opens the holiday season at the Lyric playing the music of the most requested musical group of all time, Mannheim Steamroller. Best known for its contemporary interpretations of holiday favorites and new seasonal compositions, Mannheim Steamroller’s distinctive repertoire blends Baroque, classical and light jazz with a touch of humor and creativity.
The Academy Orchestra is composed of professional symphony musicians, selected alumni of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, and the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony’s most advanced players. Come celebrate the season with South Florida’s finest professional musicians, performing alongside the rising musical stars of the Treasure Coast!
