Long Island's newest year-round professional theatrical venue, The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director), continues its 2nd season with the award-winning musical Legally Blonde with music and lyrics by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, book by Heather Hach, based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. Now in performance for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2019 at The Argyle Theatre(34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island). Opening Night is Saturday evening, July 13, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Legally Blonde is presented through Music Theatre International.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the summer intern production, INCOGNITO by Nick Payne, directed by Bay Street's DirectingProducing intern Kellie M. Beck and starring Bay Street Theater's 2019 Acting Apprentices. This production will run as a show directed, produced, designed and acted entirely by the summer intern company at Bay Street Theater. Performances run from August 8 - 10 with twilight performances at 4 pm.  Tickets will be sold as Pay What You Can style directly at the box office.

The Romeo & Juliet Project, a new musical, features the music of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, with the book by Bradley Bredeweg. (Painted Alice, Stupid F**king Bird), presents Crushing Baby Animals, a semi-autobiographical original play revealing two women's worst nightmare. Written and performed by Tana Sirois and Maria Swisher with assistant direction by Landon Alexander, Crushing Baby Animals blends physical theatre, multimedia and a healthy dose of humor in a unique artistic experience. Coupling visual art and live theater, the play is performed amid a LIC Artists, Inc. fine art exhibition entitled Welcome to the Multiverse, themed specifically to coincide with the production.
