Michael Major is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Marist College.
After starting out running social media for a theatre company, his love of pop culture led him to intern at TigerBeat Media. After also writing for organizations like PopCrave, uInterview, and Talk Radio NYC, Michael began as BroadwayWorld's entertainment editor in August of 2021.
Growing up watching movie musicals like Hairspray and Little Shop of Horrors on repeat, Michael is an expert on television and film. His love of the film industry has carried over to his work at BroadwayWorld, working with major networks like NBC, ABC, FOX and more to cover Broadway stars taking over the big screen.

Taylor Swift’s concert film “Taylor Swift The Eras Tour” has officially sold more than $100 million in advance ticket sales. The film has also recevied a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, making it possible for Swift to promote the film while she is on break from her Eras Tour performances.
