Town Hall's Broadway Rising Stars, the concert event that launched the careers of stars who were in the opening night casts of Hamilton, Waitress, Beautiful, The Color Purple and more returned for its 11th annual edition at The Town Hall last night, July 10th. The John W. Engeman Theater announces the cast and creative team for GREASE. Performances begin on Thursday, July 6 at 8:00pm and run through Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Travers and the Walt Disney Film with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics byGeorge Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Last night at Rory Dolan's in Yonkers, NY Tenor Paul Byrom performed and Broadwayworld.com was there to capture the event. One of Ireland's premier tenors, Paul Byrom, will perform at Rory Dolan's on Sunday, May 21 as part of his 12-city "Summer from Dublin" tour.

Primary Stages' 2017 Spring Fling celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Einhorn School of Performing Arts this week with an event which honored Broadway composer Jeanine Tesori with the Einhorn Mentorship Award.

Primary Stages' 2017 Spring Fling celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Einhorn School of Performing Arts this week with an event which honored Broadway composer Jeanine Tesori with the Einhorn Mentorship Award. Additional honorees from the ESPA community were also celebrated at the event, including Tanya Barfield, Jimmy Carbone, and Cusi Cram.

This afternoon, Tony Award winning producer Mike Isaacson (The Humans, Fun Home, Bring it On The Musical, Red, Legally Blonde, Caroline or Change) received the Commercial Theatre Institute's Robert Whitehead Award for Outstanding Achievement in Commercial Theatre Producing. 

The Path Fund Inc. kicked off their 10th year by doing what they do best: rockin' out with some of Broadway's hottest stars. The show was modeled after Path Fund's signature rock concert series, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY®, now in its 24th year. This fun and unique charity event featured both Broadway's best rockers and Broadway's best new talents.
