Tony Award nominee and original Broadway cast member Jonathan Freeman played his final performance as Jafar in Disney’s hit musical Aladdin on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Fellow original Broadway cast member Dennis Stowe will assume the role beginning Tuesday, January 25.  

The Second Stage Theater production of Richard Greenberg's Tony Award-winning play, Take Me Out is getting ready for performances at Second Stage's Hayes Theater, where it will open  on April 4, 2022.

 The upcoming Broadway revival of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite, starring Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, is set to begin preview performances on Friday, February 25, 2022, with the official opening night set for Monday, March 28, 2022, at Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street). Earlier today, David Byrne, star of American Utopia on Broadway, and Senator Chuck Schumer, sponsor of the landmark “Save Our Stages” Act joined forces to celebrate the return of Broadway and live music to New York City. After 18 years, Caroline Thibodeaux is back on Broadway. Caroline, or Change, the beloved musical by Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori, returned to Broadway last night at Studio 54 in a stunning new revival from Roundabout Theatre Company.
