On November 1, FST offers a live, in-action glimpse of the inner workings of FST's theatre school at the Education Open House. FST to Kick Off Kids Komedy Club, October 25
(10/15/2014) - The kids from Florida Studio Theatre's Kids Komedy Club are back, performing their knee-slapping sketches on the Goldstein Cabaret stage on select Saturday mornings at 11:00am. The Kids Komedy Club (KKC) Season opens on October 25 and will leave you in pain from side-splitting laughter.

The event will feature Broadway's Norm Lewis and Sierra Boggess, in addition to many others.
FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training to Present THE WATER ENGINE
(10/9/2014) - The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training's 2014-15 season opens with Pulitzer Prize winning and Tony Award nominated American playwright David Mamet's riveting drama THE WATER ENGINE. Originally written as a radio drama for NPR, the play made its stage debut in 1977 and received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding New Play.

BWW Review: Fringe Favorite SEASONS Brings New Work Excitement to Florida Tour
(10/6/2014) - There is something exhilarating about sitting in the audience watching a new work that you think could eventually become something special. More so than any other artistic medium, pieces of musical theatre require extensive gestation periods, sometimes with years numbering in the decades. So to see a musical, somewhat early on in that process, presents an exciting opportunity to be a part of its growth. Such was the case when I saw SEASONS at Orlando Shakespeare's Mandell Theatre, which is in the midst of a state-wide tour.
