Just over a decade ago Bill Kenwright presented the year's most sparkling and celebrated West End comedy hit at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue - Noel Coward's Fallen Angels. Extraordinarily, the Champagne-cork-popping hit had not been revived since, until last year. Following a successful autumn tour Fallen Angels will tour again in the spring of 2014. (more...)

PICT Theatre's final production of the season is the Pittsburgh premiere of Paul Giovanni's The Crucifer of Blood, a Sherlock Holmes adventure featuring characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Matt Torney directs. David Whalen returns to reprise the role of Sherlock Holmes since his 2011 turn as the master detective. Also returning from the 2011 production is Daryll Heysham as Inspector Lestrade. Justin R. G. Holcomb makes his PICT debut as Dr. Watson. (more...)

The stage premiere of Shakespeare in Love will open at London's Noel Coward Theatre in the summer of 2014. This new play will be adapted for the stage by Lee Hall from the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard. Declan Donnellan will direct and the production will be designed by Nick Ormerod. Shakespeare in Love will be produced by Disney Theatrical Productions and Sonia Friedman Productions. (more...)
