NBC Sports Group Sets 2014-15 College Hockey Coverage

NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra will present more than 25 college hockey games this season, including 20 Notre Dame home games, six Hockey East games and the second annual Rivalry on Ice. A total of 19 games will be televised on NBCSN, and an additional eight games will be streamed live via NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets. Walter Mosley's LIFT Set for 59E59 Theaters' Inaugural 5A Season

59E59 Theaters will host the New York premiere of acclaimed novelist Walter Mosley's first full length play LIFT, directed by Marshall Jones, III. Produced by Crossroads Theatre, LIFT begins performances on Friday, October 17 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 30. Opening Night is Tuesday, October 28 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM. Single tickets are $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Invitations to parties and galas at magnificent private homes in the Hamptons are always coveted but the hottest ducat last week was the lecture by architect, historian Gary Lawrance, co-author with Anne Surchin of Houses of the Hamptons: 1800-1930 held in one of the largest private residences ever built on the East End, Whitefield formerly known as The Orchard. Sponsored by the Southampton Historical Museum, the talk quickly sold out and several hundred guests filled the baronial music room at the sprawling estate. With its soaring, carved mahogany wood walls, coffered ceilings with hand painted embellishments and a fireplace that one could stand inside, the Music Room was the ideal setting for a discussion about the Gilded Age. For the sixth consecutive summer, the Garden of Dreams Foundation will host Dream Week , its week-long summer experience for 40 children (10-12 years old) from the Police Athletic League, one of its 22 partner organizations. The children will enjoy one-of-a-kind activities planned by the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Networks, MSG Sports Properties and MSG Entertainment at various locations throughout the tri-state area including, but not limited to, Madison Square Garden, the MSG Training Center, Radio City Music Hall, MetLife Stadium and Stadium Tennis Center at Mill Pond Park.
