The 90-minute show is a revue of words and music, arranged by George Tabori, with direction by Jim Petosa and music direction by Matthew Stern. (more...)

by Nancy Grossman - Jan 12, 2017

Johnny Lee Davenport and Director Benny Sato Ambush collaborate for a powerful production of George Stevens, Jr.'s THURGOOD in its area premiere at New Repertory Theatre in Watertown. Together, they create a humanized portrait of Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, that is at once relatable and larger-than-life. It is also a reminder that one man can make a difference if he is determined and perseveres. (more...)

BWW Review: GENERATION ME Tackles Important Teen IssuesBWW Review: GENERATION ME Tackles Important Teen Issues
by Ellen Dostal - Sep 19, 2016

Two years ago this teen musical was one of the best new works to come through Hollywood. Its young writers Julie Soto, Ryan Warren, and composer Will Finan had found a way to tell a story about teen suicide that was relatable to both youth and adults alike. It's a parent's worst nightmare; the thought of your own child suffering in silence and one that also speaks to the isolation that persists among many adults as well. (more...)

BWW Profile: Benedict Cumberbatch Emmy-Nominated Star of Stage and ScreenBWW Profile: Benedict Cumberbatch Emmy-Nominated Star of Stage and Screen
by Matt Tamanini - Sep 15, 2016
