(8/26/2014) - Rehearsals are now underway for the Off-Broadway premiere of the new drama STALKING THE BOGEYMAN. Preview performances are set to begin on Friday, September 12 at New World Stages (340 W. 50th St.), with an official Opening Night on Monday, September 29 (7 p.m.). (8/26/2014) - The world premiere musical REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW rocked Grand Central Terminal last Thursday August 21st with a special medley performed by cast members Graydon Long, Brad Nacht and Marrick Smith backed by the show's band. The performance was part of the weeklong "Life's a Picnic in Grand Central" event. With book, music & lyrics by var Pall Jonsson, the cast of REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW also includes Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle.

(8/26/2014) - Dixon Place, Ellie Covan, founder and artistic director, proudly announces SUPPER AT THE SALON, a special evening of dinner and entertainment which will take place on the mainstage theater at Dixon Place on Monday, September 15th, with cocktails beginning in the lounge at 6:30 PM. The evening will include performances by Stew (Passing Strange), Nancy Giles ('CBS Sunday Morning'), Broadway's Ted Keegan (Phantom of the Opera, Cyrano, Camelot), award-winning aerial troupe LAVA, and more to be announced, and will be hosted by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus founder, Keith Nelson. Also that evening, four honorees will receive the iconic Dixon Place mini chair award for their contributions to the arts and support of Dixon Place: award winning actor-writer Peggy Shaw; The Jerome Foundation, celebrating its 50th Anniversary; Dixon Place Board member Eric Jensen, and theater supporter Yoshiko Kakuga.

Bernstein and Marguerite Krupp's Olympics ber Alles, beginning a limited engagement tomorrow, Wednesday August 27th at St. Luke's Theater (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Debra Whitfield directs a cast that features Jim DiMunno Tim Dowd, Michael Engberg, Amy Handra, Darrell Purcell, Joshua Quat, Stewart A. Schneck, and Jenn Susi. This limited run continues through September 21st only. Olympics ber Alles will have scenic and lighting design by Duane Pagano with costume design by Janice O'Donnell and sound and projections design by Paul Bourgeois. The performance runs two hours including intermission.

Directed by Alexandre Oppecini, this production will mark the World Premiere of the English translation by Perrine Moran. IN THE RING will be presented for six performances only (tonight, August 26th through September 6th, 2014) as part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City (155 First Avenue, NYC).
