Failing to receive comfort from her young girlfriend, she finds connection in unlikely new friends--namely an ape at her local zoo, and Cleva--the last known speaker of a dying language. Precious Little will be produced at the People's Center Theatre on the West Bank of Minneapolis, and runs March 21st-30th.

Detroit takes place in a first-ring suburb outside a mid-sized American city where Ben (John Middleton) and Mary (Angie Timberman) fire up the grill to welcome the couple (Anna Sundberg and Tyson Forbes) who've moved into the long-empty house next door. The fledgling friendship soon veers out of control shattering the fragile hold that newly unemployed Ben and burgeoning alcoholic Mary have on their way of life - with unexpected comic consequences. (3/5/2014) - The Illusion Theater presents the recent off-Broadway production of NAKED DARROW April 3-12 at the downtown Minneapolis theater, located on the eighth floor of The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts, 528 Hennepin Ave. This solo piece, written and performed by Gary Anderson, is a provocative look at the legendary lawyer who took on racism, social injustice and the death penalty in the first decades of the 1900s.
