11:19 AM 2012

On Sunday, December 9, during its annual Season of Giving charitable campaign, AEG is dedicating its holiday efforts to Chabad of California with a menorah lighting celebrating the second night of Chanukah. A 10-foot menorah sculpture will be created out of 800lbs of ice at L.A. LIVE and lit at approximately 6:15pm to celebrate the second night of Chanukah with David Arquette, Chabad's Rabbi Cunin and other notable VIPs. Fans wishing to view Southern California's ONLY ice sculpted menorah can start viewing it at 3:30pm.

The evening will also feature a special performance by the Hollywood Klezmer, a band that performs traditional Eastern European and American klezmer music with a unique fusion of Yiddish, Sephardic, world music, jazz, swing and classical sounds.

AEG's Season of Giving is an initiative designed to raise funds and generate awareness in support of non-profit organizations working on issues of hunger, homelessness and healthcare. During the month of December, a different non-profit organization will be highlighted during a brief program at the Los Angeles Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE.

Chabad of California is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides drug and alcohol prevention and rehabilitation for at-risk youth; food, shelter, crisis intervention and referral services for people and families in desperate need; and youth programs for children with special needs.

Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, Calif.
