The Peking Acrobats have are the stars of their very own daring productions and have been featured on numerous television shows and in feature films. Some of their most breath-taking acts include daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs, a trick cycling kaleidoscope of magnificent movement, treacherous wire walking and amazing displays of contortion. With their performances rooted in ancient Chinese acrobatic tradition dating back as early as 221 B.C., a performance Peking Acrobats is also a rich cultural experience for audiences alongside the gasps and astonishment at their acrobatic talents.

Dominican-born Syed became the first Latina to have been admitted at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School. She now enjoys an ever-maturing career performing throughout the world. Recently awarded the 2013 Soberano Award as International Classical Artist of the Year as well as the 2009 Casandra Award and Latin Pride National Award. Aisha performs on a 1690 Stradivarius violin and an Antonius Pelizon violin provided by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins. She will be performing the stunning violin concerto by L. V. Beethoven.

Fiery Prince Edward Island fiddler Richard Wood has lit up a lot of stages from Carnegie Hall with the Chieftains, to David Letterman with Shania Twain; from North America to Europe, Japan and Australia. Over the years, Richard has graced the stage for Royalty - the Queen of England, the Emperor of Japan, and Canada's Governors General. Most recently, he performed for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their Canadian visit to his home Province. Gordon Belsher brings a glowing warmth to the stage with a gentle charm that has become his trademark. His solo CD's have been nominated for Canada's East Coast Music Awards. As accompanist and featured vocalist with Richard Wood, Gordon has toured extensively across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Europe, Australia, and performed as part of the cultural delegation for Team Canada in Tokyo, Japan in 1999.

In the last half of the 19th Century no figure played a more crucial role in the evolution of music than violinist Joseph Joachim. At the beginning of the 21st century, Daniel Hope celebrates Joachim's genius by exploring some of the works he inspired--including those composed by Brahms, Clara Schumann, Mendelssohn and Grieg. Through a string of acclaimed recordings on the Deutsche Grammophon label and sold out concerts in the world's major music capitals, violinist Daniel Hope is fast becoming known as an artist unafraid of providing a fresh view of the classics. A festival director and educator (he is professor of violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London) Daniel Hope is also a violinist of uncommon skill and insight who relishes musical discovery. This is a program not to be missed by any listener passionate about music how it is made.

A romantic comedy set in Gloucester, Massachusetts in the winter of 1998, Fighting Over Beverley centers on a love triangle between three 70+-year-olds: Beverley, who came to America from England as a war-bride; Zelly, her fisherman-husband; Archie, the Brit she jilted 53 years earlier, who has returned to take Beverley back. In the battle for Beverley, the real question emerges: What does it take to realize that you are the love of your life? Wednesday - Friday 7:30pm ; Saturday & Sunday 2pm About the playwright Israel Horovitz has written over 70 plays, several of which have been translated into as many as 30 languages and performed worldwide. His play Line is now in it's 39th year of continuous performance off-Broadway. He is Founding Artistic Director of Gloucester Stage Company, and of the New York Playwrights Lab. Horovitz teaches a bilingual screenwriting workshop with writers from la Femis, France's national film school, and Columbia University's graduate film program. He is married to Gillian Adams-Horovitz, former British National Marathon Champion and Record holder, and former USA Track & Field (Masters) Marathon Champion. The Horovitz family divides its time among homes in Gloucester, Massachusettes, NYC's Greenwich Village, and London's Dulwich Village. Mr. Horovitz visits France, frequently, where he often directs French-language productions of his plays. He is the most-produced American playwright in French theatre history.
