The Ten Tenors in Broadway THE TEN TENORS
Cheyenne Civic Center
2/27-2/27/2014
The TEN Tenors respectfully tip their hats to their classical roots and share with audiences unique renditions of the genre's best love pieces, but they also push the boundaries of what it means to be a 'tenor' and to sit in the 'classical' genre in today's world. Taking cues from some of music's most courageous contemporary artists such as Freddy Mercury and Meatloaf, The TEN, see rock opera as not only a way of keeping their show fresh and reaching new audiences, but appealing to the myriad of musical preferences a ten-piece musical act shares. The Producers of The Ten Tenors have put together a special treat for Broadway fans for the 2013/2014 season. This will be a limited run opportunity to present a wonderful collection of Broadway's greatest hits sung by ten of Australia's hottest tenors. Amidst incredible international success, this Australian troupe has become known as one of the hardest working touring acts; performing an average of 250 shows per year across seven continents.

Colcannon in Broadway COLCANNON
Artcore
3/1-3/1/2014
Colcannon has developed a distinctive, inventive, and contemporary musical style while still keeping in firm touch with the heart and essence of traditional Irish music. Colcannon's concerts are renowned for their energy, for singer/frontman Mick Bolger's irrepressible sense of humor and sly wit, and, of course, for the music; music that expresses flights of joy, deep sorrows, and an unquenchable zest for life. The band formed in 1984 in Boulder Colorado, USA, and their reputation has grown steadily over the years with the release of eight CDs on the Oxford Road Records label. The band's recent CD 'The Pooka and the Fiddler' received a Parent's Choice Award for its artful interweaving or music and storytelling. The Emmy-award winning PBS special, "Colcannon in Concert," filmed at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts has aired nationwide.
