On Tuesday, November 13th at 10PM over a dozen of Broadway's brightest stars will join together in song to benefit the Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3 helping aid victims of Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island and other affected areas in NYC. Performers will include Corey Cott (Newsies), Will Blum (The Book of Mormon, Grease), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Lora Lee Gayer (Follies), Kara Lindsay (Newsies), Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys, On A Clear Day), Taylor Louderman (Bring It On), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Robert Lenzi (South Pacific), Tess Soltau (Into the Woods, The Addams Family), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch'), Jessica Waxman (Pure Country), Stephanie Thorns (Wicked), Lesley McKinnell (Wicked), and Stefanie Brown (Wicked). The evening will be music directed by Benjamin Rauhala.

"Oh Sandy" has been organized by Staten Island-native Marrick Smith, an actor/writer, and recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. After days of volunteering at shelters and helping rebuild his neighborhood, Marrick was inspired to gather the theater community together to help raise funds for Friends of Maribeth and Cohort 3. The performers all graciously leaped t the opportunity to help support our community. This will undoubtedly be a powerful evening as our theater community joins together in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Tickets will be $20 with a 2 drink minimum and reservations can be made by calling 212-695-6909. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located on the Northwest corner of 42nd and 9th. All proceeds from the evening will go to 'Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3,' who are striving to bring aid to the residents of Staten Island and NYC metro areas that have been affected by Hurricane Sandy.
