WATCH: Robin Thicke's Movie Debut in 'Making the Rules'
According to Billboard.com, 'Making the Rules' where Robin Thicke made his movie debut, quietly hit DVD in May.
Filmed in 2012, a year before his "Blurred Lines" breakout, Thicke's Shaun goes after his married ex, Abby (Pressley). "Making the Rules" marks the singer's movie debut, but it's far from his first acting gig; that would be his stint as "Boy" on a "Wonder Years" episode in 1989.

Thicke released his seventh album, "Paula," on June 30 to little fanfare. Thicke has worked with popular artists such as Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Mary J. Blige and Pharrell Williams. Thicke has also been acknowledged for his work on popular albums such as Usher's Confessions and Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III. He rose to worldwide fame in 2013 with his hit single "Blurred Lines".
