VOICE Champ Tessanne Chin to Duet with Adam Levine on Upcoming Album?

People.com reports that The Voice champion Tessanne Chin will perform at the 125th Rose Parade on New Year's Day along with Season 5 runner ups Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin. The performers are set to sing Chin's new single, 'Tumbling Down' as they ride on the all-new Voice-themed float.

"We found out the last two weeks of the competition that they requested that the top three [perform], and [I'm] excited," the 28-year-old singer told the magazine. "I've never even been to a parade, much less a part of it, so I'm like a little kid!"

The Jamaican singer shared that she was unfamiliar with the annual New Year's Day event until just recently. "It's all so surreal. I can tell you a secret - I didn't know what the Rose Parade was before, because I don't really live here [in Los Angeles]," she confessed, adding "It's a huge honor, so we really want to represent it well."

The singer, who took the crown earlier this month on the finale of the NBC singing competition, admits her life has turned upside down in recent weeks. "I know I've said it a thousand times, but there are literally moments where I go, 'Oh my God, this is happening,' and it takes my breath away," she says. "People notice me here now, which never used to be the case. ... It's never been like that before where I have to plan when I go to the supermarket or certain things because it's just a bit much. It gets crowded real quick."

She has only words of praise for her Voice mentor Adam Levine and reveals that she hopes the two will be working together again in the near future. "I would love to be able to collaborate with him on this album that we're working on," says Chin. "To have the opportunity to sing with him again would be amazing."

The 125th Rose Parade be broadcast on NBC from Pasadena, Calif., on Wednesday, January 1 at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT.
