Scoop: THE CHEW on ABC - Week of 3/4
Next week "The Chew" welcomes Dana Delany from ABC's "Body of Proof" as the featured guest Tuesday, March 5 to bake with co-host Carla Hall. The week also marks the return of the wildly popular Iron Grandma competition with an all-New Group of tough, talented and adorable grandmas who will Face Off with their best Meatloaf recipes. Who will win the Golden Meatloaf trophy as well as bragging rights? Celebrity judges Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, Food & Wine's Gail Simmons and "The Next Food Network Star" Aaron McCargo, Jr. decide! Then co-host Michael Symon travels to Chicago, Illinois for the latest in kitchen gadgetry, and the show celebrates Breakfasts, One-Pot Wonders and Extra Value Recipes in all-day shows devoted to those topics.

MONDAY, MARCH 4 - The Chew Crew shares their One-Pot Wonders with co-host Michael Symon's Beef Stew that's as delicious to eat as it is easy to clean up. Then co-host Mario Batali's cooks up a simple, special and spectacular Minestrone Soup with Tortellini, and co-host Clinton Kelly hosts a Food Frenzy game that challenges viewers to match the calories for each dish displayed.
TUESDAY, MARCH 5 - It's as Easy as ABC: Baking Edition, when Dana Delany (ABC's "Body of Proof") joins co-host Carla Hall who shows viewers the perfect way to decorate everyone's favorite cake with buttercream frosting. Co-host Michael Symon teaches a married couple from the audience the basics of baking carrot bread, and Mario shares his tempting Citrus Crostada dessert.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 -- Battle of the Iron Grandmas is back with an all-New Group of Grandmas and a new challenge-Meatloaf! The panel of judges weighing in on the Meatloaf Battle Royale are "The Next Food Network Star" Aaron "Big Daddy" McCargo Jr., Iron Chef and restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian and Food & Wine's own Gail Simmons. Co-host Carla Hall takes viewers inside the Staten Island home of the Original Iron Grandma, the inimitable "Mama T."
THURSDAY, MARCH 7 - It's a Breakfast Blowout when co-host Clinton Kelly whips up one of his scrumptious breakfast casseroles, co-host Michael Symon takes us inside The International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago to see the latest in amazing kitchen gadgets, and co-host Carla Hall digs into her recipe file for a breakfast classic.
FRIDAY, MARCH 8 - On this Extra Value Friday, co-host Michael Symon creates a signature 5 in 5 recipe, this time for Chicken Française; co-host Mario Batali whips up the perFect two sides: Escarole with Chiles and Garlic and Polenta with Mushrooms. Co-host Clinton Kelley teaches his co-hosts how to make Ink Dye Coasters that are cheap and chic in Clinton's Craft Corner.
