This Sunday: What impact is the government shutdown having on the economy? Plus, what does the current fight say for the prospects of future budget negotiations on the debt ceiling? Treasury Secretary Jack Lew joins us.

Then: Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul has been outspoken in trying to stop the government shutdown. Sunday, he joins Meet the Press exclusively to talk what comes next and where he thinks the parties can agree.

Next: Both sides are dug in in the government shutdown fight, so what comes next? Plus, what does the constant clashing in Washington say about our leaders' ability to effectively govern the country? Our roundtable weighs in: Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH); Republican strategist Mike Murphy; Host of NPR's Morning Edition, Steve Inskeep; and editor of the National Review, Rich Lowry.
