Judges: Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot
Award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot are in the midst of Season Three of the culinary smash hit MASTERCHEF. The three celebrated food experts have put the contestants through a series of exciting challenges and elimination rounds and will turn one home cook into a culinary master.
After a nationwide search that drew nearly 30,000 hopefuls, the Top Home Cooks were flown to Los Angeles to present their signature dishes to the judges. Only 36 contestants earned a MASTERCHEF apron and the chance to prove their skills and determination in an intense ground beef challenge. Those who impressed the judges were granted a coveted spot in the Top 18 and joined the nation’s best crop of home cooks in the MASTERCHEF kitchen.
The Top 18 home cooks have been put through their paces in a series of challenges designed to test their palates, food knowledge, passion and culinary skills. Only the Top Six remain – Monti Carlo, Felix Fang, Christine Ha, David Martinez, Frank Mirando and Becky Reams – and with only a few more challenges and elimination rounds left in the competition, the Top Six are sure to feel the pressure as they battle for the coveted MASTERCHEF title, a cook book deal and the $250,000 grand prize.
