Scoop: HELL'S KITCHEN on FOX - Thursday, June 12, 2014After members of each team change up once again, Chef Ramsay challenges the remaining eight contestants to a HELL'S KITCHEN classic: the blind taste test. The team that correctly identifies the most ingredients wins an ice skating lesson with former U.S. National Champion and Olympian figure skater Rachael Flatt, while the losing team chisels down ice blocks and prepares homemade ice cream for the next dinner service.

Later during the dinner service, contestants struggle to stay organized in their stations and temperatures flare when one team is unable to work together. As one team completes one of the most successful dinner services this season, another team must put two contestants up for elimination in the all-new "8 Chefs Compete" episode of HELL'S KITCHEN airing Thursday, June 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HK-1214) (TV-14 D, L)

Cast: Chef Gordon Ramsay

Season 12 of HELL'S KITCHEN will be as explosive, dramatic and %@#!&* intense as ever, thanks to Chef Gordon Ramsay and his demanding challenges. Once again, 20 aspiring restaurateurs will brave Ramsay and his fiery command of The Kitchen as he puts the competitors through an intense culinary academy to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize. The chefs will have to raise their game if they want to prove to Ramsay that they will have what it takes to win.

The chefs will leave the pleasantries at the door as the pressure to impress Chef Ramsay will reach a boiling point. The contestants must prove their ability to work in teams before Chef Ramsay determines which chefs are worthy of a black jacket. The rewards for winners of upcoming challenges will be luxurious and extravagant, while the punishments will be strenuous, dull and repetitive.

As the competition progresses, the number of contestants will be whittled down until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of HELL'S KITCHEN.

HELL'S KITCHEN is produced by ITV Studios America in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Inc. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers.
