Fox Searchlight Pictures has announced that director Sacha Gervasi's HITCHCOCK will hit theaters on November 21. As BWW reported earlier today, Johansson will be returning to Broadway to star as Maggie in Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning classic CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. The revival will begin preview performances Tuesday, December 18 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). Opening night is set for Thursday, January 17. Based on the book "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" by Stephen Rebello, Hitchcock is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho.
