Bravo Reviving DEATH BECOMES HER as TV Series
DEATH BECOMES HER
The network has put into motion a plan to turn the film into a one-hour scripted drama. Robert Zemeckis, the man behind the 1992 film, has agreed to serve as executive produer along with Jack Rapke and Jackie Levine. No writer, director, or cast is currently attached to the project.
DEATH BECOMES HER follows two women who vie against each other in their desperate search for immortality.
Recently, Bravo announced they had ordered a script for an additional pilot, based upon the 2009 flick THE JONESES, starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny. It follows a seemingly perfect family of four that has just moved to an upscale suburb to start a new life, but have a secret they must keep from friends and neighbors... they aren't a real family at all.
"These pilots give us an opportunity to explore worlds and characters that are distinct from our unscripted programming," Andrew Wang, vice president of scripted development and production at Bravo, said. "Yet, both projects feature the memorable storylines and strong, unique characters that our Bravo audience craves.”
