BWW Asks: Mariah Carey vs Nicki Minaj - Who's the Bigger Diva?

FOX News reports that Mariah Carey is threatening to walk out on the current season of AMERICAN IDOL, despite the fact that a winner has yet to be crowned. According to a source close to the show, Carey is "so done" with constant threats and insults from fellow judge Nicki Minaj that she is considering not appearing on the broadcast set to air live tomorrow night.

"Mariah doesn't want to come back, Nicki is really disrespecting her and she's tired of trying to bite her tongue all the time," an insider told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. "One night Nicki tried to be kind of nice, but Mariah didn't bite, so I guess she figured screw that."

"She's done with it all. She doesn't need the platform, and all the drama isn't healthy for her," added the source. "She's also under fire with the producers for not being critical enough of the contestants."

The recent feud was fueled by an exchange on Twitter following last week's show, when Minaj posted a barrage of insulting tweets regarding rumors that producers were considering replacing Carey with former judge Jennifer Lopez. The rapper referred to the songstress as "insecure" and "bitter."

Fans of Mariah have taken to Twitter to show their support for the Grammy winning artist, tweeting such things as "Minaj is so irritating, you do not argue with Mariah Carey," with another maintaining that Minaj's attacks were "disgusting and pathetic."

Has Minaj gone too far with what many perceive as bullying one of America's 'Most Loved Divas', or is Carey being a bit oversensitive? Is all this feuding just a marketing ploy to attract more viewers to the show? Or are we witnessing an embarassing case of two grown women behaving as if they never left the 6th grade? Tell us what you think!
