Just off the back of a recent press tour during which time single EVERY TIME I TOUCH YOU dropped, Metro Station was honored to premiere the corresponding video on MTV Buzzworthy. With a few more special summer announcements to come, Metro Station is enjoying this new wave of hype and looking forward to even more music, dates and events come fall.
Metro Station itself is by no means new to the scene, though its recent rebirth has breathed new life into the group. The band's storied career began in Los Angeles in 2006. Within a year of formation, Metro Station released the song "Seventeen Forever" on MySpace and found themselves included on MySpace Music's Unsigned Band's charts, no small feat for the time. Metro Station signed with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records in late 2006 and released its self-titled debut studio album the following year. "Shake It" and its immediate explosion on the charts came shortly thereafter, peaking in the top ten of three US charts. Over the years, Metro Station has shared the stage with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Fall Out Boy and Boys Like Girls as well as headlined their own tours like the popular Disco Balls & Blow Up Dolls with Cash Cash, White Tie Affair and Tyga.
