Ariana & the Rose to Hit Fashion Week, Announces Tour with Heffron Drive
Downtime is not a word that exists in the vocabulary of Ariana DiLorenzo, the front woman of New York City-based electro pop outfit Ariana & the Rose. After a whirlwind of a year that has had the songstress traveling constantly between coasts and continents, DiLorenzo is thrilled to kick off the fall season with a northeast run of tour dates opening for Heffron Drive. She will also once again be a part of New York Fashion Week as she continues to write and add final touches to her upcoming album.
After a successful run with Heffron Drive in late 2013, Ariana & the Rose was more than game to head out with the group this time around. Heffron Drive, the brainchild of Big Time Rush's Kendall Schmidt, enjoys the synergy it shares with Ariana & the Rose, both groups favouring an upbeat high-energy show that leaves concert-goers no choice but to dance. In fact, it is connecting with her audience in this way, something that is hyper-imperative to DiLorenzo, that has driven much of her recent success. She has toured the UK with the Hoosiers and Foxes and seen her singles 'Heartbeat' and 'In Your Bed' climb the charts, both landing comfortably in the top 5 on the Music Week charts and the latter in the top 25 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
The stage is not the only arena in which Ariana shines, however. Artfully blending the worlds of music and fashion is something of a signature for DiLorenzo, who is no stranger to Fashion Week, both here in New York City and abroad in London and Paris. She has not only attended shows for many seasons, but she has performed at after parties, loaned her music for designers to incorporate in their runway show and humbly accepted invitations to be dressed and styled by the crème de la crème of the fashion world. This year, Ariana & the Rose is proud to be a part of the iconic Carmen Marc Valvo's 25th Anniversary party where they will be providing the evening's entertainment. The group will also perform at Erin Fetherston's after-party and during Alon Livné's presentation.
