Deadline.com reports that Atchity Entertainment and Ramos and Sparks Group have announced that they will produce a feature film based on Gerald Blaine's bestselling book THE KENNEDY DETAIL. The film's release date of late 2013 will coincide with the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination.

President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas. Blaine’s 2010 book, written with Lisa McCubbin, recounts the story of JFK’s presidency from the point of view of the men who guarded his life while in office and on that fateful day.

In December of 2010, Discovery aired a documentary based on the book which was narrated by Martin Sheen. The documentary was  executive produced by Ken Atchity and Chi-Li Wong with Blaine and McCubbin serving as producers.
