Nighthawk UltraLight Lands on the Shelf at Walmart

Nighthawk Lights, LLC lands on the shelf at Walmart-Canada. Mr. Keith Lucas, Managing Member of Nighthawk Lights, LLC recounted Nighthawk's journey to the shelf at Walmart Canada. He recently said, "Early last year Walmart USA held an American Idol style contest where they challenged inventors, tinkerers, thinkers, marketers and everyday Joes to submit their products for sale on Walmart's shelves. We submitted our video of the Nighthawk UltraLight, which was originally made for and used by US pilots during Operation Desert Storm. Approximately three weeks into the contest I received a call from Walmart Canada asking about the UltraLight and if we could discuss 'getting on the shelf' in their Canadian stores. Although we did not win the Walmart USA contest, I am very pleased to announce that we have partnered with Walmart Canada and the UltraLight by Nighthawk has now landed on the shelf at Walmart's in Canada."

Mr. Lucas went on to describe the history of Ultralight, "The first generation of this light was the Nighthawk Microlight. It was used by pilots flying night sorties during the Desert Storm Operation. We were asked to develop a light that would not interfere with the safe operation of the aircraft, be night-vision compatible, easy to operate, have an extended battery and bulb life and lastly, to be virtually indestructible; the Nighthawk Microlight was born." Mr. Lucas then concluded with, "Fast forward 15 years of technology advancement and now the new and improved UltraLight has replaced the Microlight. It is still a hands-free flashlight that is worn on your finger using a loop and hook strap or you can wear it on the brim of a hat using the removable clip. The Ultralight is a high intensity white LED flashlight that boasts 48+ hours of continuous battery time, the LED is rated at 50,000+ hours; it is weather proof, cool to the touch and carries a life-time guarantee against failure of parts or workmanship. The cost is $7.99. It is perfect for Hunters, Campers, Fishermen, Boaters, Truckers, Mechanics, Backpackers, Pilots or anyone who needs a convenient, small and versatile high-intensity flashlight. We are proud and excited to bring this next generation flashlight to the Canadian people."
